Joshua Levin-Epstein founded Levin-Epstein & Associates, P.C. and leads its contingency practice. He takes on business and commercial claims for clients who would rather share the recovery than fund hourly fees: shareholder and partner disputes, breach of contract, unpaid invoices, restrictive covenants and unfair competition, bankruptcy-related claims, and judgment enforcement.
His work centers on getting money back for clients. He has handled adversary proceedings, the reclamation and recoupment of property under state and federal law, pre- and post-judgment enforcement including cross-border matters, and high-value shareholder disputes, and he has tried cases to verdict in the Southern District of New York and before the American Arbitration Association.
He has lectured for the Foreign and International Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers' Association on enforcing foreign money judgments, from entering and serving the judgment to locating and reaching a debtor's real and personal property.
Before founding the firm, he practiced in the business solutions, governance, restructuring and bankruptcy groups of international and national law firms, and served as law clerk to the Honorable Alan H.W. Shiff of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut (Bridgeport Division).
Jason Mizrahi

Jason Mizrahi is a Partner at Levin-Epstein & Associates, P.C., where he litigates contract, employment, bankruptcy and judgment enforcement matters for businesses and individuals in New York state and federal courts.
He works closely with restaurant and hospitality operators on wage-and-hour compliance, employment questions, real estate and everyday business disputes, and has handled claims involving labor law, breach of contract, bankruptcy and intellectual property.
Before joining the firm, he was an associate at a boutique business and commercial litigation firm, and earlier served as in-house counsel and human resources manager for a wholesale baking company operating in the United States, China and South Korea.
